Public event

We hope you can join us for this online experiential art therapy workshop. Arts psychotherapists Rosemarie Fordham and Rosanna Cooper will guide you in a mindful, creative exploration, using whatever you can find in your home (no fancy art kit required!)

With: Rosemarie Fordham and Rosanna Cooper

Date: Saturday 6 February 2021

Time: 10am to 12.30pm

Venue: Online, using Zoom video conferencing

“We will be lost and found a thousand times along this cobbled road of us.”

Atticus

About the topic

“How can we recreate and re-imagine from lost places? We will explore loss as an integral part of life that signposts us to what we value most. How can we be with loss and allow it to support us to adapt and flourish in our lives?

We will use a variety of creative methods, including found objects in your home, free-writing and visualisation.

We invite you into a safe community space online via the free Zoom video conferencing platform, where we will use creative, therapeutic and mindfulness techniques as a path for self-discovery.

This workshop gives you a chance to rest your ‘thinking mind’, tap into your deeper intuition and imagination and recover your innate creativity. We offer you a space where you can express, create and really be yourself, whether you think you’re ‘arty’ or not!

No experience or ability with art necessary. We will work with art materials you can find in your homes: magazines, newspapers, scissors, glue and paper will be helpful to have to hand. Anything else – paints, pastels, textiles, pens, etc – will be an added bonus, not a ‘must’.

Everything we do is an invitation: no pressure to share any more than you want to.”

About the Pluralogue

For those new to this event, the Pluralogue is a space where we get together to both learn and socialise, meet some new colleagues and find out what others are up to.

The term ‘Pluralogue’ was coined by Doron many years ago, to depict moving beyond monologue to dialogue: to pluralogue (the conversation of many). We hope to learn together and from each other in the form of a learning community in a friendly atmosphere.

The added bonus is that we structure it as a CPD event so you will be able to count it as CPD hours (a CPD certificate will be provided as well).
