Venue: Relational Spaces: Mulberry Room, Langdale House, 11 Marshalsea Road, London SE1 1EN
About the topic
What if grief wasn’t something to overcome… but something to make space for?
Join theatre maker, creative facilitator and psychotherapist Darren Cheek for a gentle, playful and deeply human creative workshop exploring grief, memory, love, loss and what it means to keep living.
Over 3 hours we’ll make, write, imagine, laugh, reflect and create through a series of simple, carefully facilitated creative invitations.
You might write a message to someone you’ve lost. Decorate a small coffin. Make a map of memories. Build something unexpected from ordinary objects.
There’s no pressure to share, no expectation to perform, and no artistic experience needed. You don’t need to think of yourself as creative. Just bring your curiosity and a willingness to play.
This isn’t therapy or an art class. It’s a safe, welcoming space to explore one of the most universal experiences of being human, something we all encounter, but rarely get permission to talk about creatively.
Whether your loss is recent or many years old, whether it’s the death of someone you love, the end of a relationship, a changing identity, a life that didn’t unfold as hoped, or simply the ache of being human, you’re warmly welcome.
Come as you are. No experience necessary.

About our Pluralogues
For those new to this event, the Pluralogue is a space where we get together to both learn and socialise, meet some new colleagues and find out what others are up to.
The term ‘Pluralogue’ was coined by Doron many years ago, to depict moving beyond monologue to dialogue: to pluralogue (the conversation of many). We hope to learn together and from each other in the form of a learning community in a friendly atmosphere.
The added bonus is that we structure it as a CPD event so you will be able to count it as CPD hours (a CPD certificate will be provided as well).
