Come and join us for a summer picnic in beautiful Hyde Park – and to visit the ‘Web(s) of Life’ exhibition by Tomás Saraceno at the Serpentine Gallery.

About this event

The Serpentine Gallery visit is free, optional and there is no need to book. The gallery opens 10am to 6pm on Sundays.

Meeting point and directions

We will be sitting behind the Serpentine Gallery near the tall, truncated tree stump:

From Lancaster Gate tube station, cross over to Marlborough Gate into Kensington Gardens. Head straight, with the lake on your left, passing the Peter Pan statue on your right (10 minutes – a very lovely walk):

Before you reach the exit gate (Temple Gate) look to your right and see the tall tree stump and the just visible Serpentine Gallery. We shall be sitting there.

From West Carriage Drive, the closest gate is Temple Gate – Serpentine Gallery to the left.
